About Us · Meet the Team
Who-Dat Electrical & Mechanical, LLC was founded in 2023 by Michael Lopez alongside his father. It's family-owned and run — pairing Michael's training, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University, with the decades of on-the-job experience of Lead Technician Juan Lopez to take on projects of every size.
Juan came to the United States from Cuba in 1980, chasing freedom and the chance to build something of his own. He'd spent three years studying mechanical engineering back home before trading the classroom for a fresh start in a new country. By 1981 he was in the industrial trades — electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration, all learned hands-on — and he never looked back. More than 40 years and countless projects later, that same know-how is exactly what you get when you call Who-Dat. Whatever the problem — electrical, AC, heating, or refrigeration — chances are they've seen it before and fixed it. They'll take care of yours, too.
